Does PWR Logistics pick up used IBC totes for free?
Yes. Through the PWR Tote Exchange, PWR Logistics picks up used IBC totes from your facility at no charge. Call 1 (877) PWR-FULL, email info@pwrlogistics.com or use the contact form with your location and the number of totes, and we'll schedule a pickup.
What happens to IBC totes after PWR picks them up?
Each tote is reconditioned: we clean the bladder (the inner plastic bottle), clean the steel cage, and examine the valves. The reconditioned totes then go back into service across the USA, Canada and Mexico instead of ending up in a landfill.
What is an IBC tote?
An IBC (intermediate bulk container) tote is a reusable industrial container for liquids: a plastic inner bottle, called the bladder, held inside a steel cage on a pallet base, with a valve at the bottom for discharge. Common sizes are 275 and 330 gallons.
Why use the Tote Exchange instead of throwing totes away?
